Psychotherapy Fees

Aetna Network

I am currently an in-network provider with AETNA.  Before commencing with treatment, contact your insurance provider to verify any benefits by asking the following questions:

Cash Pay/Out-of-Network

I operate a fee-for-service practice, which means that at the end of each month you will be provided with a superbill, which you would need to supply to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.  Before commencing with treatment, I recommend that you contact your insurance provider to verify any benefits by asking the following questions:

  •  What are my mental health benefits?

  •  What percentage of each session is covered when I see an out of   network psychologist?

  •  Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  •  Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can   have? If so, what is the limit?

  •  What is the amount of my co-payment?

  •  Do I need authorization or pre-authorization in order to receive   mental health treatment?

I offer a free 15-minute, phone consultation to determine if my services are warranted and to determine if I am the best mental health provider for you.

Initial Intake Session

During this session initial paperwork is completed and/or reviewed.  In preparation for this session, please complete as much of the preliminary paperwork as possible. Please refer to the Appointments tab for more information.

Health and Behavior Treatment

30-minute session

Individual Psychotherapy

50-minute session

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is only offered in 60-minute sessions.  Please plan for both partners to be physically present during the session

Emotion Support Animal Assistance

50-minute sessions

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not provided me with at least 24 hours advanced notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.  This is standard industry practice and is in effect since your time slot is reserved and cannot be offered to another. 

Forms of Payment

Cash, credit/debit cards, and HSA  are the only forms of payment accepted at this time.
